Adult Contemporary is an exhibition series that brings provocative ideas into public discourse through contemporary art. Each exhibit is curated by Laura Hutson Hunter and presented by the Nashville Scene.

The inaugural exhibit, Nerve (February 2020), was co-presented by Ivy and Josh Elrod of Wilder, and included paintings, drawings, photographs and video art from women and nonbinary artists whose work examines the female body.

Shag (October-November 2020) showcased the ways that textile-based artworks—from handwoven tapestries and cloth sculptures to embroidery, knit and crochet—can address sexuality in unique ways.

Futurephilia (November 2021) examined sex through the lens of futurism and science-fiction, and included collage, paintings, photography and drawing.

Drawers (May 2022) was presented in partnership with OZ Arts, and focused on drawings.
